a reasonable location. The hotel is a modern, pale coloured
low-rise block. The small to medium sized rooms are all adequately
furnished in pale greens and creams. They are clean and well looked
after. Some rooms have optional kitchen facilities. The restaurant is on
ground level, well lit and near the lobby area. The small lobby is
situated on ground floor level. Adjacent is a bar area and
breakfast/restaurant room. Much natural light is afforded by the large
shop-front windows. The hotel is situated on a main arterial road in the
near suburbs of Bucharest on the way out to the airport. There is a
direct tram link with the centre of town. The area is mainly commercial
and residential.

The best way to fully appreciate Bucharest is to spend a full day of in-depth exploring. We stroll on the major boulevards, starting with the huge Civic Center, where we make a stop for a visit of the impressive Parliament Palace, up the Triumph Arch. Here we pay a visit to the open air Village Museum, were we can admire village architecture and crafts from all over Romania.
